Adam Tarr advises Invariant’s clients on a wide range of food, agriculture, and environmental policy issues. He helps organizations navigate complex legislative and regulatory challenges by executing strategies and mapping paths to success.

Before joining Invariant, Adam spent over 15 years in the Executive Branch and on Capitol Hill. He joined Invariant from the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, where he focused on sustainability and conservation, helping craft the Climate Smart Ag provisions of the Build Back Better legislation and overseeing the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) implementation of the Farm Bill conservation title. Adam also worked at USDA during the Barack Obama Administration, including as chief of staff in the Office for Food Safety and senior advisor to Secretary Tom Vilsack. Previously, he handled agriculture, environment, energy, and appropriations issues for former Senators Bob Casey (D-PA) and Arlen Specter (D-PA).
