Carolyn Coda co-chairs Invariant’s economic policy practice group. She brings 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors. Carolyn specializes in regulatory and legislative strategy and guides clients through the complexities of Washington’s political landscape.

Carolyn joined Invariant from global reinsurer Swiss Re, where she served for seven years as head of federal affairs. She was responsible for leading the firm’s public policy initiatives on issues ranging from financial services and tax policy to cyber risk and climate resiliency. Prior to Swiss Re, Carolyn spent time in both the legislative and executive branches. She clerked for the Republican staff of the Senate Finance Committee before transitioning to the Senate Judiciary Committee. She was also a political appointee at the Treasury Department under President George W. Bush, serving in the Office of Legislative Affairs.
