Charlie Ladd is a member of Invariant’s national security practice where he provides strategic guidance to small and growth-stage businesses navigating the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and appropriations processes. Charlie develops creative Washington engagement strategies, helping clients connect with the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.

Charlie has previously held roles at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Department of Defense. He also interned in the offices of Senator Michael Crapo (R-ID) and Representative Steve Scalise (R-LA). While serving as a program analyst for Commissioner Dawn D. Stump at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, he was honored with the Chairman’s Award for Excellence in Supporting the Commission.
