Damian Ortega is a skilled policy specialist supporting Invariant’s energy and environment practice. Damian facilitates congressional and executive branch engagements, conducts in-depth policy research, and monitors key legislative and regulatory developments to keep clients informed and positioned for success. 

Focus Areas 

• Analyzing critical energy tax credits for emerging and established technologies, including hydrogen, energy storage, electric vehicles, geothermal, and solar. 

• Leveraging strong ties within the Washington Latino community to provide clients with timely insights into Capitol Hill developments and enhance their policy priorities. 

• Executing Washington engagement strategies, organizing fly-ins, and crafting compelling messages that resonate with policymakers. 

Before joining Invariant, Damian worked at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, serving as a liaison between congressional campaigns and key donors. He began his career in politics on campaigns in California and Nevada.
