Damian Ortega is a skilled policy specialist supporting Invariant’s energy and environment practice. Damian facilitates congressional and executive branch engagements, conducts in-depth policy research, and monitors key legislative and regulatory developments to keep clients informed and positioned for success.

Analyzing critical energy tax credits for emerging and established technologies, including hydrogen, energy storage, electric vehicles, geothermal, and solar.
Leveraging strong ties within the Washington Latino community to provide clients with timely insights into Capitol Hill developments and enhance their policy priorities.
Executing Washington engagement strategies, organizing fly-ins, and crafting compelling messages that resonate with policymakers.
Before joining Invariant, Damian worked at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, serving as a liaison between congressional campaigns and key donors. He began his career in politics on campaigns in California and Nevada.
