Jaime Cheshire leads Invariant's National Security practice, bringing more than two decades of experience advising clients on defense and intelligence policy, congressional engagement, and the full range of national security challenges facing government and private sector leaders.

Jaime most recently served as Executive Director of the Afghanistan War Commission. Prior to that, she served at the CIA in senior executive and congressional affairs roles, earning both the Presidential Rank Award and the Director's Award. Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Advisor to the Chairman on the House Armed Services Committee, helping enact seven consecutive National Defense Authorization Acts. Jaime also worked as a Legislative Director for Representative Nancy L. Johnson (R-CT) and Representative Buck McKeon (R-CA).
