Jim Durrett brings decades of experience at the highest levels of government, including senior roles in the Senate and the Trump Administration. Most recently, he served as Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff to Vice President JD Vance, where he helped manage the Vice President’s office and worked closely with senior Administration officials and congressional leaders to advance policy and political priorities.

Prior to joining the administration, Durrett served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN), former U.S. Ambassador to Japan. He also held roles in the offices of Senator Todd Young (R-IN), Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), and former Senator Rob Portman (R-OH). Before that, he served in senior roles at the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee.
