Maia Hunt Estes is a senior leader at Invariant, bringing over two decades of experience in local, state, and federal legislative and political affairs. She specializes in navigating complex policy and regulatory challenges, helping companies grow their revenue and engage with the federal government. 

Focus Areas  

• Bridging the gap between the
public and private sectors to deliver solutions for a diverse range of industries from defense and transportation to energy and health care.  

• Counseling executives of multinational corporations and start-ups on a range of issues including strategic communications, coalition building, and preparing for major acquisitions.  

• Assisting clients in forming meaningful relationships with Democratic leadership and members of the Congressional Black Caucus.   

Prior to joining Invariant, Maia served as Chief of Staff to Representative Anthony Brown (D-MD). She began her career as a private equity attorney, served as the inaugural Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs for Mayor Muriel Bowser (D-DC), and as the Chief of Staff to Lt. Governor Brown (D-MD). Maia graduated from Spelman College and received her JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
