Matthew Cox is a member of Invariant’s strategic communications and public affairs team. He combines his experience in journalism and on Capitol Hill to develop effective communications strategies for clients.

• Conducting comprehensive research and analysis to craft memos and enhance messaging strategies. 

• Leveraging social and traditional media monitoring tools for in-depth media analysis and transforming data into compelling narratives. 

• Engaging with media, identifying key outlets, and pitching impactful stories. 

Before joining Invariant, Matthew served Representative Colin Allred (D-TX), where he conducted policy research to support legislative initiatives. In a previous role at HealthHIV, he gained valuable experience running social media campaigns. He also spent time at The Hill, mapping daily news topics and supporting the production team.
