With more than 25 years of experience, Matthew brings a deep understanding of how to position organizations, build influence, and create opportunities in complex environments.

Before joining Invariant, Matthew held several leadership roles at BCW (Burson), including head of the North America corporate practice and senior growth leader for its corporate, crisis, and public affairs practice. Prior to BCW, Matthew spent a decade at APCO Worldwide, serving as managing director of the Chicago office and overseeing the firm’s operations in the Midwest and Western United States. Earlier in his career, Matthew spent over a decade in California politics and as a legislative aide in the U.S. House of Representatives.
