Travis Tritten is a national security communications strategist with more than two decades of experience covering the U.S. military, defense policy, and global security issues. He brings strong newsroom leadership and reporting expertise to help clients communicate with clarity and credibility in complex defense and national security environments.

Prior to joining Invariant, Travis most recently served as Deputy Managing Editor at Military.com, where he oversaw daily defense coverage, set editorial priorities, and managed a team of award-winning reporters whose work reached millions of readers each month. Earlier in his career, he reported on defense and national security for Bloomberg Government, The Washington Examiner, and Stars and Stripes, including seven years as a foreign correspondent in Japan. Travis is the recipient of the 2023 Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation Award for Distinguished Reporting on National Defense.
